Janna-Chronicles-06-Day-of-JudgmentBeing away from Sydney (and from blog log-in details) I realise that I’ve missed out on talking about the sixth and final novel in my medieval crime series, The Janna Chronicles – sorry about that! In Day of Judgment it seems that Janna has come close to realising her dream of avenging her mother’s death and bringing a killer to justice. But after travelling back to Wiltune in company with her father and her troubled half-sister, her future is shattered when her father asks King Stephen to arrange a suitable husband for her, while the man she truly loves is accused of murder. Janna has one last crime to solve – until the siege of Wiltune turns her world upside down and changes everything.  DSCN0888Photo left shows the stately home of the Earl of Pembroke, once the site of Wiltune Abbey. It was here that King Stephen and his troops lodged while preparing to attack Sarisberie (Sarum). On a hot summer’s night they were surprised by the army of the Empress Matilda, led by her half-brother Robert of Gloucester, and were forced to flee – with serious consequences not only for the opposing armies and the occupants of the abbey, but also for Janna and her family. The Janna Chronicles are available from all e-book retailers or, if you prefer, you can order the print versions through my publishers, Momentum: www.momentumbooks.com.au.  I hope you’ll enjoy reading the conclusion to Janna’s quest for justice (and love!) And if you have time, it would be great if you could review the books on either Amazon or Goodreads – thanks heaps!
